Practice Partner and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Announce License Agreement.

12/03/1999 Seattle, WA - Practice Partner, a leader in the development and marketing of innovative medical practice management products, today announced a license agreement with Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Inc. (LWW). Under this agreement Physician Micro System will obtain the license to embed data from LWW's Stedman's medical dictionary into Practice Partner's Practice Partner software.

Stedman's medical dictionary is among the most trusted medical references in the medical industry. The acclaimed Stedman's medical dictionary provides fast and accurate spell-checking for nearly 500,000 total medical, drug, and bioscience terms from 57 major medical specialties, including: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopaedics, Oncology, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Radiology, and Pathology/Lab Medicine. The integration of Stedman's Medical Dictionary/Spellchecker into Practice Partner software will ensure accurate documentation and communication of medical terms and conditions for users of the program.
