11/13/2003 Seattle, WA — Practice Partner, a leader in the development of innovative medical software, today announced a strategic business partnership with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) to publicize and provide affordable electronic health record technology to the AAFP’s 95,000 members. Under the nonexclusive agreement, Practice Partner will provide AAFP members with special discounted pricing on Practice Partner electronic medical records and practice management software.
This partnership is part of an effort by the AAFP to encourage member adoption of information technology such as electronic health records software. “The use of modern health-information technology, especially EHRs, is critically important to the future of family medicine, said David C.
