Practice Partner Receives Highest Rating from American Academy of Neurology

10/31/2006 Seattle, WA — Practice Partner, a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software, today announced it has received the highest possible rating from the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) for its electronic health record, Practice Partner Patient Records.

The AAN’s Electronic Health Record Work Group conducted a year-long study to evaluate various EHR products and determine those that best meet the needs of neurologists in small and single-physician practices. Criteria included product functionality, end-user satisfaction, vendor financial stability, client base, technology and price.

Practice Partner earned a rating of five on a one-to-five scale in the survey and received especially high marks for sub-categories like the service of small practices, security, disease management and personal health records.

Andrew G. Ury, M.D., founder and CEO of Practice Partner, commented, “Practice Partner is committed to offering an industry-leading electronic health record for neurologists. We understand the importance of offering specialty-specific features and content that help specialists to increase productivity and improve quality of care.”

Ury continued, “This third-party validation of Practice Partner supports what we hear from our existing neurology customers. They enjoy the flexibility and functionality of our EHR.”
