09/22/2005 Seattle, WA — Practice Partner, a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR), practice management, and computerized physician order entry (CPOE) software, today announced that Lincoln Community Health Center (LCHC) has selected Practice Partner Patient Records as its electronic health record system.
LCHC is a federally qualified health center that provides the Durham, NC area with comprehensive primary health care services including adult medicine, pediatrics/adolescent, dental, behavioral health, prenatal, specialty services, and transportation. Practice Partner Patient Records and Order Entry will connect 20 LCHC providers and 165 employees across six locations. Patient Records will interface with LCHC’s practice management, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy systems.
Leaders at LCHC sought an EHR that would enable them to improve documentation, advance a higher quality of patient care, enhance patient safety, reduce documentation costs, and increase clinic efficiency. “Practice Partner stood out because of its user friendliness,” said Carol Johnson, Medical Records Director. “We were also impressed by other community health centers that are using Practice Partner to transform their organizations.”
