08/23/2005 Seattle, WA — Practice Partner, a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR), practice management, and computerized physician order entry (CPOE) software, today announced that Beaufort-Jasper-Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (BJHCHS) has selected Practice Partner Patient Records as its electronic health record system.
BJHCHS has provided health care services to the South Carolina Low Country Community for more than 35 years. The group includes family physicians, internists, pediatricians, and OB/GYNs. Practice Partner Patient Records and Order Entry will connect 20 BJHCHS providers across 16 locations while Practice Partner Medical Billing will serve as the practice management system.
BJHCHS wanted an EHR system that would help the organization to increase efficiency and improve quality of care. “We selected Practice Partner because of its ease of use and adaptability,” said Brandon Gaffney, Deputy Executive Director. “The flexibility of the system accommodates different specialties and physician styles while providing powerful tools to improve quality.”
