Morehouse School of Medicine names Practice Partner as their EMR and practice management software vendor.

05/22/2001 Seattle, WA - Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) has named Seattle-based Practice Partner's, Practice Partner Patient Records and Appointment Scheduler as their electronic medical record (EMR) and patient scheduling system. MSM will implement the system to automate clinical documentation at their ambulatory clinics.

"We're thrilled that Morehouse School of Medicine has chosen Practice Partner Patient Records to be their EMR," said Practice Partner President Andrew Ury, M.D. "We look forward to working closely with them to implement the system and help full transition to electronic medical records."

The electronic medical record is a key step in the process of becoming a "paperless" office. This software will allow the facility to function without the traditional paper patient chart, thus allowing them greater access to the chart, which in turn will help them provide better care to their patients.
