Practice Partner Launches Practice Partner Software on Tablet PC

03/12/03 Seattle, WA - Practice Partner, a leader in electronic medical records and practice management systems, today announced that its Practice Partner suite of software solutions are fully compatible with Tablet PCs. Practices using Practice Partner Patient Records, Appointment Scheduler and Medical Billing will be able to use the applications on the new Windows XP Tablet PC Edition operating system.

The lightweight Tablet PCs, which are about the size of a medical chart, provide an exciting new platform for practices to operate the Practice Partner applications. The Tablet PCs allow users to enter data using a keyboard, digital pen, or mouse and also feature handwriting and voice recognition technology. These options, combined with Tablet PC wireless technology, help to facilitate data entry by physicians directly at the point of care. By combining the power of Practice Partner with the flexibility of the Tablet PCs, physicians using Practice Partner software will enjoy a new level of convenience and mobility.

We are excited to offer our practices a new and powerful choice for using Practice Partner," said Dr. Andrew Ury, President of Practice Partner. "We believe that the Tablet PC, coupled with Practice Partner software, can provide physicians with a valuable tool for streamlining workflow and improving patient care.
