Practice Partner Marks 10 Years of Support for United Way with Record-Breaking Campaign

01/23/2007 SEATTLE - Practice Partner, a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software, today announced its tenth year of support for United Way.

Every year, Practice Partner employees stage a weeklong campaign to raise money for United Way. Practice Partner's 2006 campaign was the most successful ever, as the company exceeded its donation goal by 40 percent. United Way of King County nominated Practice Partner for the Chairman's Award, one of its Spirit of Caring Awards, in recognition of the company's overall campaign excellence and exceptional commitment to the community.

United Way is a national network of more than 1,300 locally governed organizations that work to create lasting positive changes in communities and people's lives. The organization focuses on helping children and youth succeed, improving access to health care, promoting self-sufficiency, and strengthening families.

"I believe that Practice Partner supports three communities: our employees, our customers and our local community," said Practice Partner CEO Andrew G. Ury, M.D. "It's easy for us to focus on the first two communities, but the third can sometimes go overlooked. United Way is a fantastic organization that ensures we give back to those in need."
